How to save and load CS2 FACEIT cheat configs on Windows PC. Profile naming, backup tips, and why you should not share config files publicly.

The config system stores every slider, color, and hotkey binding to a local file. Here is how to use it properly across maps and sessions.

Saving profiles

Open the menu, tune your settings, then go to Config → Save. Name profiles by map or role: "mirage-rifle", "nuke-awp", "faceit-default".

Save before every FACEIT Anti-Cheat update. Updates sometimes reset to defaults and you will want your tuned values back instantly.

Config → Load picks from saved profiles. Bind a hotkey to quick-load your most used profile between maps in FACEIT hub.

Back up the config folder to a separate drive. Do not share config files on forums or Discord — they can contain license metadata.

dont post configs on reddit btw. saw a guy leak his license hash in the file. keep it local
